As compared to similar free apps and add-ons, the service does bring a large amount of extra features and easy to access tools. The suite works simply in a drop down bar within all of the popular browsers, allowing for simple downloading in seconds. Videos are then organised within the including dedicated software. While Video Downloader Ultimate works well and is certainly and upgrade over free options, many of the best functions, such as downloading and entire YouTube playlist or video conversion, are only available with the most expensive packages. These do come with extra licenses for more users, making the app more suitable for professional or business users.

Video Downloader Ultimate is a decent overall tool for storing and organizing videos from video sharing services. While it performs better than many of the free options, the high price tag and sliding scale of features make it potentially unsuitable for personal users.
Only for Windows. Uses proxy. This is not working on Linux. It uses a proxy connectin. The proxy will not be switched off after daownloading unless you do it yourself. They did not answer how they would use the data which is collected or monitored. Better use something else.
